【摘要】:ThispartofBS7371specifiesrequirementsforcoatingsappliedbymechanicallyimpactingzincpowder,orzincbasedpowderontothecomponentsurfaceinanaqueousmedium.Thecoatingisnotappliedbyusingimpactmediaacceleratedbycompressedairorcentrifugemethods.Thecoatingsconsistprincipallyofzincandcanbelubricatedtogivecontrolledtorque/clampingforcepropertieswhenrequired.ThispartofBS7371alsospecifiesrequirementsfor:a)thecoatingthickness;b)thetypeofconversiontreatmenttobeapplied,whichcanbehexavalent,tri-valentorchromiumfree;c)thequalityassessmentofthecorrosionresistanceofunusedcoatedpartswhensubjectedtoneutralsaltspraytesting;NOTE2See,forexample,BSENISO9227.d)theadhesiontest.Thecoatingsaresuitableforapplicationtometalcomponentssuchas:1)parallelthreadedfastenersandaccessories;2)screwsthatcutorformtheirownthreads,e.g.self-tappingscrews;NOTE3See,forexample,BS4174.3)woodscrews;NOTE4See,forexample,BS1210.4)springsandspringcomponents;5)pipenutsandconnectorswithparallelortaperedthreads;6)compositefastenersincorporatingnon-conductingmaterials(e.g.rubber-bondedassembly).Whenthesecoatingsareappliedtonon-ferrousfasteners,theonlypartofthespecificationthatappliesisthecoatingthicknessrequirements.
