【摘要】:1.1Thisspecificationcoverssolidkilnfiredbrickmadefromclay,shale,ormixturesthereofsuitableforuseinmasonryconstructionincontactwiththechemicalspresentinfluegasesfoundinindustrialchimneys.Thesebrickarenormallyusedwithchemical-resistantmortars.1.2Thephysicalandchemicalpropertiesofchimneyliningbrickdifferfromsuppliertosuppliermainlybecausetheircompositionisdeterminedbythesourceofrawmaterials.Chimneyliningbrick,regardlessofthesedifferences,areconsideredtobeofthreetypesnotedasfollows:1.2.1TypeI8212;Forusewherelowabsorptionandhighacidresistancearenotmajorfactors.1.2.2TypeII8212;Forusewherelowerabsorptionandhigheracidresistancearerequired.1.2.3TypeIII8212;Forusewherelowestabsorptionandhighestacidresistancearerequired.Note18212;TypesI,II,andIIImaynotdiffersignificantlyintheirresistancetothermalshock,andselectionofbricktypeshouldbebasedupontheirabsorptionandacid-resistantservicerequirements.1.3TerminologyrelatedtoindustrialfloorbrickisfoundinTerminologyC1232.1.4Units8212;Thevaluesstatedininch-poundunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.ThevaluesgiveninparenthesesaremathematicalconversionstoSIunitsthatareprovidedforinformationonlyandarenotconsideredstandard.1.5Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
