【摘要】:Thisstandarddealswithbothlarge(structural)andsmall(non-structuralorlightstructural)boxculvertsofrectangularcross-sectionformedmonolithicallyanddesignedascontinuouselementswithajointdetailshapedtoallowthepossibleincorporationofsealingmaterials.Boxculvertscanbeusedforcreationofvoidsbelowgroundforconveyanceandstorageofmaterials.e.g.conveyanceandstorageofwastewater,cabletunnelsandsubwaysForthepurposesofthisstandard,boxculvertshavinginternalcross-sectionaldimensions(WandHinFigure1)lessthanorequalto1250mmshouldbeconsideredassmall(non-structuralorlightstructural).Allotherunitsshouldbedefinedaslarge.Theelementsaregenerallymanufacturedinfactoriesusingeithernormalweightorlightweightconcreteandusuallyrequirereinforcingsteel.Thisstandarddoesnotincludeunitsmanufacturedfromautoclavedaeratedconcrete,norprefabricatedreinforcedboxculvertsoflightweightconcretewithopenstructure.Eachunitisstructurallycomplete.Theyareusedincombinationtoformatotalstructureofappropriatelength(includingjoints)andcapacity.
